Hotel Facilities
We have all of the facilities that you would expect of a comfortable boutique hotel and some unexpected suprises.
Reception
Our reception desk is staffed by friendly, English-speaking local staff. They are capable of dealing with all regular requests and have the support of management if there are any more difficult issues.
Restaurant
We have a large, separate restaurant with a professional chef who cooks fresh Chinese and delicious Western food and desserts. We can also prepare a range of local specialities.
We have indoor and outdoor eating areas and terraces where you can enjoy an afternoon sundowner. We sell a range of local and imported drinks, from softdrinks and beers to Australian wines.
Our restaurant hours are 8:00 to 14:30 and 17:30 to 20:30. If you need to eat outside these hours please let reception know in advance.
Relaxation
There are many places around our buildings, both inside and outide where you can sit and relax. Some of these are smaller private courtyards and living rooms with comfortable seating where you can rest in seclusion, whilst others are larger gardens and dining areas where our guests can mingle and share experiences.
Recreation
Faye has a small private travel business and can arrange any sightseeing or transport options for you either in advance or whilst at the hotel.
Gallery
We display artworks throughout the buildings and also have a small gallery. Anyone with a creative side is welcome to host an exhibition of sketches, paintings, photographs, etc.in the gallery. Use of the space is free. If you would like to arrange an exhibition please contact the hotel management. When not otherwise used the gallery will exhibit the works of our local artist-in-residence.
Internet
We have free wireless internet in the restaurant, public areas and all guest rooms. Ask reception for the current password.
Security
We have CCTV cameras at key points around the buildings and a night-watchman on duty every night to ensure that you and your belongings remain safe throughout your stay. All guest rooms have small private safes for your personal use. All buildings and rooms are equipped with smoke alarms and fire fighting equipment.
Cleaning
All public areas and guest rooms are cleaned on a daily basis by our housekeeping staff. They can also arrange to have your private laundry items washed for you if you wish.
